Jeppe Ugelvig (b. 1993) is a curator and cultural critic based in New York and London. His research focuses on histories and theories of cultural production.
Jeppe completed his undergraduate degree Communication, Curation, Criticism at Central Saint Martins in 2016 with 1st Class Honours, and his MA degree at the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College, in 2018. He was a resident of the 2019 Sandretto Foundation Young Curators Residency Programme in Turin, Italy, and is curatorial resident at Delfina Foundation in London in the winter of 2019.
Jeppe’s writing has appeared in Frieze, parallax, ArtReview, Afterall, Flash Art International, Spike, Mousse and LEAP, amongst many others. He has contributed texts to exhibition catalogs of artists such as Dozie Kanu, A Kassen, BODY HOLES, Soft Baroque, Ian Giles, and Esben Weile Kjær. He functions as the contributing editor of Wallet.
Jeppe has staged exhibitions in Hong Kong, New York, Berlin, London, Ramallah and Copenhagen, and lectured at Central Saint Martins, NYU, and Funen Art Academy.
His first art historical book, Fashion Work: 25 Years of Art in Fashion is forthcoming in 2020.
